It's official:

I'm an Aussie sheila, mate!

Just need a bit more practice in this bloody Aussie lingo.

It was a very long day yesterday. We had to drive all the way to Horsham and back to attend my ceremony but it was all worth it. Now that the process is completed I can start pushing some more doors open and see what happens.

It is getting cooler every day here - you can tell winter is on it's way. It's still quite pleasant in Adelaide, even when the temperature drops below 20 degrees C. The sky is almost always blue and there is no wind. I guess that's because we are nicely shaded by the hills.

Our house is getting better and better every day. Although we just had ducted heating installed throughout the whole place, we do enjoy our three (!) fireplaces in the evening ... just need a more sustainable fire wood supply.
