Sometimes I wonder why things are happening as fast as they are. Two weekends ago we went to Adelaide for the Gliding Federation of Australia Board Meeting. This was my first time as Victorian Board representative. At the same time I think I had the shortest term a Victorian Representative has ever had. I left the meeting with a new huge hat on my head. I was elected Chair Sports Committee. It is a big and challenging job. I'm now going through all the topics that I have to deal with and it's just overwhelming. Not easy to combine it with the full time job but I'll keep trying. At least it's fun and gives you the feeling that you can make a change for the better.
