It's amazing how time flies when you're keeping busy. Only 9 days left and we'll be on the way to France, where I'll be competing in the Women's World Gliding Championships and Ziggy will again be my most professional and competent crew the world has ever seen. Even more amazing is the fact that we already have everything organised (glider, cars, accommodation etc.). All we have left is to pack the bags and board the plane.
To make the trip more exciting doctors put cosmetic braces on my teeth that will make my smile gorgeous in just 15 months time (hurrray!). It doesn't hurt (although they told me it would) but is pain in the bum to clean every time you've eaten something. The solution is simple though: there is less eating and the numbers on the scales just confirm that ;).
Anyway, we're now counting sleeps to the big trip!
