We made it! I'm back in the place that I love so much. After 3 great days spent in Reno we moved to and settled down in Minden. The Sierra Motel owners already had the Ziggy's Ranch all set up and ready for us. The only thing we're missing now is the large "Ranch" sign over the door.

It took us 3 days to get the glider and all the equipment ready. TW has found his C-7 tiedown spot at the airport today. We even managed to solve the hitch problem ...

The weather hasn't been great for the last couple of weeks but it's getting better with every single day and I'm really glad we just got the insurance issues sorted out and are ready to go starting tomorrow. It wasn't easy to convince the insurance company that we really will not be cancelling the policy after few weeks and keep it for the whole year.

Zig is getting his check out in the Duo and a BFR with Fred tomorrow and I'll go up in the TW. Everything is looking good and there are finally Cu's out there! Tonight is Pizza-Night with all the pilots and Tom just called to make sure we'll be there cause there is one more Aussie Boy from Lake Keepit coming in to fly for the next week and Zig just HAS to meet him.
